In about a month’s time my blog will celebrate its first anniversary and in commemoration of this great event I’ve got about 40 gmail (1000MB e-mail account) invites that I can send to anybody who bothers to reply to this post or send me an e-mail. Today I read that there are people who are actually auctioning the invites on e-bay. Nothing surprises me anymore.

After I’ve returned from Tanzania my interests have spawned new frontiers, so now I’m in the mood of doing everything except computer stuff. This means that the blog will regain its previous prestige especially now that I can access it from work and I’ve got the travelogue to write.

Obviously at the moment I’m working on the holiday video so I’m busy at home. Hopefully this time I’ll do a quicker job then last time now that I know how to edit and have got good hardware. At the moment I’m performing video logging which means selecting which clips to transfer from tape onto the hard drive and capturing these clips.

Apart from the video I’m reading South of the Border, West of the sun by Haruki Murakami and also I learned how to play reversi (or Othello). In itself the game is very simple game to learn but it has got great strategic depth that keeps you hooked to play another game. I’ve downloaded WZebra which is probably the best computer program around and I’m getting to grips with the strategy of the game thanks to the program itself and its documentation.
