good morning folks!

i'm feeling rather misty this morning but feel like greeting the world. don't run away with your minds the weather here is like 3pm on the golgotah on good friday so nothing to be cheerful about there and this morning i woke up alone in bed so it's not related to that either. maybe i had some adrenalin rush this morning cycling through dublin traffic with my latest ABS on my bike (i.e. hardly any breaks). i need to get the pads replaced by in the mean time i'm finding alternative breaking techniques like cycling through grass patches, eroding the soles of my old nikes on the road or the odd hop on the pavement when the traffic light unexpectedly turns green.

this morning i woke up at 7 like the rest of the last two weeks. this new development started after i read some sort of unrecognised, unscientific blog post on the beneficial effects of waking up early (one of them was that you have a longer morning which was enough to convince me). anyway, i started looking up some research master projects instead of the thought masters and some alternative universities. nah i don't think this is a light enough topic to include here, now, today so maybe some other time.

on a different note. sheamus is back. (who is sheamus?) he stormed in the house last week bringing along barabas his seen-jesus-in-his-better-days friend and his friend's pet thomas brown, the ghost. i've already heard some weird and wonderful stories about the newcomers but it's still early morning to go in the details.
