Tip 19: Synchronising Firefox Bookmarks

Browsing with multiple computers creates the problem of having different bookmarks stored on different computers. While online (social) bookmarking tools might solve part of the problem I hate having to visit a website to access my bookmarks. The Foxmarks Firefox Extension allows you to synchronise your Firefox bookmarks by storing a copy of your bookmarks on its own server, and merge different versions of your bookmarks There are two great things about this extension:-

  1. Once foxmarks is setup there is no need for manual intervention
  2. You can still access the bookmarks through a web interface

Initially I had a problem with Foxmarks because it was messing up the order of the bookmarks but now it seems to have sorted itself out.
