This is a travelogue not a guide book. If you want a guide book there are much better resources although they might not be that up to date. The ideas reflected in this journal are biased by my culture, background and all the stuff that makes me what I am so you might not necessarily experience the same feelings while doing the same things on holiday. Nonetheless I thought that somebody somewhere might find something useful reading these pages about Ecuador and the Galapagos.

This trip was made in the company of my better half, which throughout the rest of the journal shall be affectionately referred to as 'The One', 'She' or 'Madam P'. During the holiday we adopted an efficient distribution of labour scheme where she takes pictures with her new Canon EOS 350D, and I shoot video with a humble Canon 750i and write the travel diary on an 80 page school copybook. All the pictures that are clickable to enlarge are her copyright while the others a frames captured from the video, thus the low quality.
