It's been some time since I wrote anything about work but not without my reasons. The only Christmas present the company gave us was a speech from the director on the 22nd of December in which he told us that he's on the verge of outsourcing the whole IT department to a major airline organisation.

You can imagine the reaction of the people at the mention of the word outsourcing and I was no less than an ordinary folk, scared shitless. I've been thinking about this from the moment we had this meeting and the rumours of what could possibly happen are the bread and butter of everyday at work. To make things more intriguing I was also offered the possibility to attend for an interview with another company. At last though I decided to take the risky path and try my luck with the company for some more time waiting for things to unfold themselves. Hopefully in the best case I'll manage to get a job with this super-company and in the worst case I'll finish working in an empty building with everybody somewhere else. It's times like this when school and university look like haven.
