Christmas Blues
The Christmas week brought along a healthy dose of procrastination and consequently the blog suffered a bit too. Christmas was excellent like always and I got a couple of needed presents. The best one was the Leica Binoculars which I was in desperate need of as I'm fed up having to borrow a binoculars each time there's a bird in sight. I also got some sweatshirts and a set of rear car speakers.
This year I didn't manage to find a 'big' expensive present cause my love seems to have got anything she needs. At first I thought about buying her a photography course but after I did some research I realised that the national photographic society offers courses for free. The only other decent idea was an iPod, however it lacked usage potential. My Christmas present list was the following:-
- Breil Necklace
- Lemur Soft Toy
- Jennifer Lopez Still Perfume Pack
- Squash Racket
- National Geographic Subscription (with free Map)
- East Africa Bird books (not yet arrived since 1st December)
- 5 Novels
Unfortunately the Christmas spirit got heavily tainted with the massive disaster in Southern Asia. I really dont know what to think accept that I'm feeling really sorry for the people and the tragedies in the several effected countries. We've just been in the region only some months ago and even in one of the less effected islands, Penang in Malaysia. In the light of this freak of nature the least I could do was to make a donation to the Red Cross.
